She is an intuitive reader and spiritual doula, SelfCare Works provides services for healing transformation, development coaching, and life transition support.

Originally designing and facilitating workshops since 2003, Ayanna offered mental health support, creative development, and community health initiatives. From media and music production to breastfeeding counseling, self care has always been the first priority for the communities she serves.

At that same time Ayanna Maia began developing as an intuitive reader by training with various metaphysicians. Her affinity to spiritual energy, dream interpretation, and divination soon transformed into more than a career path. She founded SelfCare Works as a self-proclaimed Spiritual Girl in the Real World fusing the divine with practical and healthy living.
